Ocean Marina Strengthens Tourism and Community Partnerships in Pattaya
Ocean Marina has reinforced its commitment to supporting Pattaya’s tourism, marine leisure sector and local community through a series of meetings with key tourism and government stakeholders.
On 4 August, Ocean Property Managing Director Khun Napong Paripontpochanapisuti visited Ocean Marina for a series of discussions focused on tourism development, destination promotion and opportunities for greater collaboration across the Pattaya and Na Jomtien area.
The visit began with a meeting with representatives from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office, where discussions centred on the continued development and promotion of Pattaya as a leading tourism destination.
With Pattaya’s coastline, accessibility and growing range of marine leisure activities, Ocean Marina believes the yachting and boating sector has an important role to play in broadening the destination’s appeal, particularly among international and high-value visitors. The meeting explored opportunities for closer cooperation in promoting Pattaya’s marine tourism offering and attracting more visitors to the region.
The Ocean Marina team and Khun Napong also met with Khun Poramet Ngampichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, to congratulate him on his recent election victory.
Discussions focused on opportunities for Ocean Marina and Pattaya City to work together to strengthen the promotion of Pattaya, including its potential as a destination for marine tourism, boating, sporting events and international visitors.
The day's final meeting was with Khun Phinyo Sainapha, the newly elected Mayor of Na Jomtien Municipality, where discussions turned to Ocean Marina's role within its immediate local community.
As a long-standing part of Na Jomtien, Ocean Marina is committed to maintaining a close relationship with the municipality and supporting initiatives that contribute to the development of the local area and benefit residents, businesses and visitors.
The three meetings reflect Ocean Marina's wider commitment to working collaboratively with tourism authorities and local government to support the sustainable development of Pattaya and Na Jomtien.
As Thailand's marine leisure industry continues to develop, strong cooperation between the private sector, tourism authorities and local government will be increasingly important in growing the region's appeal as a marine tourism destination and creating new opportunities for the wider boating and yachting industry.
