Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific (APAC) is proud to announce the delivery of the first Sanlorenzo SL86 Asymmetric (SL86A) to the Asia-Pacific region, celebrating another milestone in the Italian shipyard’s growth across the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing yacht markets. This landmark delivery highlights Sanlorenzo’s dedication to delivering cutting-edge design and bespoke Italian craftsmanship to discerning Asian clients.
Building on Sanlorenzo’s acclaimed asymmetric concept—first developed by Chris Bangle for the first asymmetric model SL102A in 2018 and further enhanced by Zuccon International Project—the new SL86A enlarges volume, living space and establishes a new onboard circulation flow. By eliminating the port-side exterior passageway on the main deck, it reclaims valuable interior volume, creating a bright, open main deck that flows naturally between living areas. This design approach resonates strongly with Asian owners seeking an expansive and refined onboard environment.
This milestone further reinforces Asia-Pacific’s position as a cornerstone market for Sanlorenzo following its acquisition of Simpson Marine in Spring 2024. The region now accounts for a vital share of Sanlorenzo’s global order book, with more than 80 yachts commissioned since 2015 and several other under construction or en route to Asia-Pacific.
